Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy is an adjustable injection of pure medical carbon dioxide in different parts of the body (intradermally, subcutaneously.intramuscularly). When the local introduction of carbon dioxide in the zone of influence of an improvement of tissue oxygenation (which is a local analgesic effect, muscle relaxation and then start the process of reparation, and removal of toxins), stimulates the formation of collagen (increase elasticity), a direct lipolytic effect. The introduction is very fine needles. The procedure is usually performed without local anesthesia, sometimes in sensitive patients apply creams with lidocaine or cooling after the procedure. The procedure is non-toxic, as carbon dioxide is a natural metabolite and is excreted from the body in a natural way.

Indications for carboxytherapy:

– Chronic pain syndrome in degenerative diseases of musculoskeletal system (POA, spondiloarthrosis), rehabilitation after injuries and surgeries.
– Chronic pain syndromes reflex zones in diseases of the internal organs (in the diagnosis).
Pain syndromes caused by diseases of the Central and peripheral nervous system (migraine, post herpetic neuralgia, neuropathic pain, neuralgia compression type), and autonomic dysfunction.
– Skin diseases: psoriasis, alopecia, scars after acne.
– Cosmetic problem: signs of aging, stretch marks, rosacea, local fat deposits, cellulite.
